Did you know that Produmex WMS includes Container Management with your WMS Professional and Terminal licenses? Container Management enables you to track inbound and outbound goods that may be on any number of Purchase Order lines or Sales Order lines. In fact, quantities on a single line can be split across multiple WMS Containers.
Define Container Shipping Status values such as ‘On The Water’ and ‘At Domestic Port’, to provide the clearest container visibility. Define Incident Types such as ‘Broken Seal’ and ‘Insurance Claim-Lost’ to isolate containers that have issues. Finally use Container Receiving on the WMS mobile device (handheld scanner) to receive the contents when the container arrives at your dock.
